Phoenix Richards

Phoenix is a Caribbean-Canadian illustrator residing in Vancouver, BC. Her work focuses on storytelling, often through children's literature, and highlights the interactions between people and the natural world. She graduated in 2025 from Emily Carr University of Art + Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration. She has a soft spot for drawing children, animals, and a variety of plants.
